Role
We are seeking a highly skilled SAP Technical Consultant with expertise in Electronic Data Interchange (EDI). If you have a strong background in creating and managing services, passioned about message determination and possess a comprehensive understanding of general EDI processes do not hesitate and take this opportunity to collaborate with cross-functional teams and be part of an international leader company.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage EDI integration solutions using Seeburger tools within the SAP environment, applying in-depth knowledge of EDI standards and best practices.
- Develop and maintain services for EDI processes, ensuring high reliability and performance, Monitor and troubleshoot service-related issues, providing timely resolutions to minimize downtime. Managing SAP archiving activities using OpenText
- Configure message determination rules for various SAP modules.
- Implement user exits and Business Add-Ins (BADI) to address specific customization requirements and enhance system functionality.
- Enhance the user experience related to EDI within the SAP landscape integration.
- Prepare comprehensive documentation for configurations, customizations, and integrations, Conduct training sessions for end-users and fellow team members on EDI processes and best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Proven experience as an SAP Internal Consultant with a focus on EDI (Seeburger)
- Extensive knowledge of EDI standards, message formats, and protocols. Proficiency in configuring message determination for MM, FICO, SD, and other core SAP ERP modules
- Hands-on experience with user exits, BADI, Fiori, and the Informatica platform
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams
