Client
Our Client works on large scale digital transformation programs in Marketing, Sales, Logistics, Customer Experience from roadmap to execution. They have clients from all industries, but they are leading the market in the automotive and service industry.

They are setting up a Center of Excellence in Marketing Automation and Business Intelligence with a brand new team in Romania! This is a great opportunity to be part of the founding team and to start this new adventure.
Responsibilities
You develop and maintain an event-driven calculation engine using TypeScript and Node.js.
You collaborate with QA to develop and execute unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to ensure code quality and reliability.
You utilize AWS services such as Lambda, S3, EC2, RDS, and DynamoDB to build robust and scalable solutions.
You contribute to the architecture and design of new features and system improvements with a focus on future-proved solutions (incl. ML & big data).
You implement and manage event-driven architectures using tools such as AWS SNS/SQS, Kafka, or similar.
You write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices.
You utilize Git for version control, ensuring collaborative and efficient workflow.
You conduct code reviews, pair programming sessions, and provide guidance to other developers to promote best practices and improve code quality.
You implement CI/CD pipelines to automate testing and deployment processes.
You optimize database queries and API responses for maximum efficiency.
You implement security best practices to protect sensitive data and ensure compliance with industry standards.
You collaborate with data scientists to integrate predictive analytics and machine learning models into the backend systems.
You provide production support, including troubleshooting and resolving issues in a timely manner.
You ensure the high availability and reliability of backend systems and services.
You participate in on-call rotation as needed to support production environments.
Requirements
You are proficient in TypeScript and Node.js
You have hands-on experience with event-driven architectures and related technologies.
You have experience with monitoring and logging tools, specifically, Datadog.
You have strong experience with AWS services and cloud-based application development. Certification in this domain is a plus.
You have a solid understanding of database technologies (SQL and NoSQL).
You are proficient in using Git for version control.
You have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. If not, equivalent work experience.
You are proficient in English.
