About the role
As a Software Architect, you will be working on pairing product strategy with technical execution, identifying gaps, weak links and making plans to plug them with the ultimate goal to achieve a highly scalable, cost-conscious architecture that leverages industry-leading tools and services. You get to work with a bunch of great people, where the whole team owns the project together

Here are some of the most important activities associated with this role:
Design, architect and deliver outstanding solutions to meet and surpass customer expectations
Consult with customer success teams & customers to enhance and expand upon their use case – continuously propose improvements, expansions and extended use cases to increase overall productivity
Team up with product owners and developers, and help bridge deep domain, product and customer knowledge with deep technical knowledge
Improve development practices by assisting the R&D team in delivering code, big or small
Frequently and consistently providing guidance and best practice recommendations across the development life cycle process
Build resiliency into everything we do. Building a high-availability, fully redundant environment that’s capable of withstanding major outages or contingencies
Enable data metrics capabilities for the Verified platforms and showing where the platform’s performance, scalability or resiliency need improvement
Help make the platform even more scalable, by decoupling our dependencies and reducing our time to market
Evangelise Verified products and features to wider internal and external audiences
Requirements
5+ years of software engineering experience
2+ years of technical lead or architect experience
Demonstrated ability to work with stakeholders and think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges
Experience designing production ready solutions; both from scratch and on top of existing solutions.
Experience working with AWS
Experience designing APIs
Strong self-management skills with ability to manage multiple parallel projects
Strong problem-solving and project management skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Nice to have
AWS Cloud architect experience
Experience as a technical lead or principal engineer
Experience working on SaaS products
Experience managing and developing client relationships
