Responsibilities

You guide your entire activity according to the needs of the customers, which you know extremely well
You favor teamwork and demonstrate both externally and internally a “can do” attitude
Builds strong mutual relationships based on trust with external and internal partners (Stores, Supply Chain, Merchandising, etc.)
You pilot category management projects to optimize the range and related merchandising activities
You are a leader in the product category that you manage on all customer channels
You develop and implement the strategy for the product category you are responsible for in accordance with the company’s strategy
You create and adapt long-term plans for the development of product categories according to customer needs develop, organize and control the consumer-oriented programs defined by the product strategy
You propose quantitative (sales volumes, product category profitability) and qualitative (customer satisfaction level) objectives for the product category you manage and make sure they are achieved
You negotiate commercial terms and purchase contracts with suppliers for their product category
Analyze the market and identify target customer/consumer groups, main competitors, trends and opportunities in the market
You are responsible for the image of the product category in front of the customer both in stores and online

Requirements

You have strategic thinking: you use your full creativity to challenge the existing status quo, properly identify problems and intelligently use the personal resources of the cross-functional teams you lead, all to build the clearest possible vision of how projects will unfold your
You have a good decision-making power – you implement the best solutions among those identified by evaluating the cost-benefit ratio and accurately evaluate their impact
You have very good negotiation skills – you ask the right questions, listen carefully, show persuasiveness and transparency in your approach, convey confidence, are flexible in moments of tension and intuitively sense how to achieve the desired balance between long-term and short-term results
Networking skills – you know that relationships can be a catalyst for the success of your projects, so you are constantly concerned with creating a socio-professional network that you can access whenever you need to initiate contacts with potential partners, improve yourself or get valuable references on industry best practices
You are team-oriented – you clearly understand the role of each person in the group, you encourage transparent discussions and permanent feedback, you are open to sharing ideas, suggestions and information that can increase the performance of the team, you recognize and appreciate the successes of each person in carrying out an action
Fluent knowledge of English
