Our client is the technology partner of the entire group it is part of. As a central IT service provider, our client is responsible for the selection and provision of IT infrastructure, IT platforms and business applications.
Responsibilities
As a consultant (m/f/d), you will be responsible for the agile further development of the various solutions on our Stibo STEP platform together with your colleagues from the international BC area.
You maintain an overview of the existing process and system landscape, analyze and evaluate business requirements and translate them into technical specifications
Work closely with Architects\Solution experts and Development teams to provide the solution and effort estimation for CRs
Engage and work with all involved stakeholders (dev teams, testing teams, engineering, infrastructure, business, vendors)
Ensure platform functionality and availability (configuration, SQL queries, code analysis)
Suggest/implement best practices and monitor deliverables quality
Implement and design platform configurations. By means of configuration (no programming!) and using Javascript and SQL, you create classification and data models in Stibo STEP, generate workflows, perform interface and data mappings and thus ensure sustainable technical solutions, which you support in regular operations Support testing for existing and new solutions\implementations
Identify risks and constraints and proactively mitigate them
Support progress tracking for various stages of projects and adapt to difficult situations
Create supporting documentation
You will be responsible for planning (estimation of the activities) and implementing new, innovative IT solutions, incorporating new technologies and digital trends
Requirements
Studies in business informatics, computer science or comparable training with professional experience in the IT environment
3+ years of experience in IT
Requirements analysis (functional\technical)
Basic technical understanding of software architectures and common interface technologies
Experience with application implementation\deployment and dependencies
Enterprise architecture exposure and systems integrations
Basic knowledge of Javascript, SQL or another scripting language. Basic Shell scripting/Linux experience would a plus
Professional technical experience and professional experience in (Agile) project management.
Excellent analytical and conceptual skills coupled with an independent, methodical approach to work
High customer orientation, strong communication skills and a courteous manner.
Good communicator, team player, smart worker\mediator and adaptable to new environments easily and quickly
Be able to work both within the team and independently
Very good knowledge of written and spoken English
German language is a plus
