Client
Our client is an UK based gaming studio. The founders have a great experience in developing mobile games with more than 1.5 m daily active users.
Role
The Backed Developer will be part of the team that is creating competitive real money casual skill games, that will be launched on the US market.
Responsibilities
Take ownership of entire features and components of the game lifecycle and lead the game development and code elements.
Involved in software development for back-end solutions for mobile & web at scale.
Requirements
Experience: 3+ years ( for Middle level) and 5+ years ( for Senior level) experience of professional software development for back-end solutions for mobile & web at scale.
Candidate has strong knowledge of REST, HTTP, SOA & microservices on top of Document databases (NoSql) preferably MongoDB – and has implemented back-end scalable applications for mobile and web. (If they were in the gaming or banking world even better).
Desired candidates should also have worked with at least 1 cloud provider: Azure or AWS.
Excellent understanding of mobile & web architectures
Deep understanding of software development & deployment processes & maintenance, with focusing on backend, using .NET and NodeJS (on Document DBs-NoSQL)
Significant experience with SOA architectures – microservices, REST services in ASP.NET & NodeJS
Demonstrate a sound understanding of software quality assurance principles, SOLID design principles and modeling methods.
Has worked with at least 1 cloud provider (Azure or AWS)
Able and interested to work in a “rapid iteration” development environment
Tech Skills needed: C# .NET, ASP.NET MVC and WebAPI – NodeJS – MongoDB – Azure/AWS
