Role
As part of the global digitalization program at group level, the introduction of S/4HANA, and the increasing
importance of SAP Cloud products, the SAP Cloud Security Expert will take responsibility for the design and setup
of SAP Cloud Security. The role focuses on creating secure and scalable authorization solutions across a hybrid
SAP landscape, connecting SAP Cloud, SAP on-premise systems and SAP Cloud Identity Services.
Responsibilities
- Design SAP Cloud Security and authorization solutions for hybrid SAP environments.
- Implement the designed security solution together with experienced authorization managers.
- Support technical rollout activities and continuously enhance the SAP Cloud Security setup.
- Ensure smooth operations of live applications by managing ongoing systems and resolving authorization issues.
- Support users and stakeholders in daily operations, with a focus on complex authorization topics.
- Advise business departments, application developers and project managers on SAP Cloud Security topics.
- Contribute to the internal security community and support knowledge transfer across teams.
Requirements
- SAP BTP knowledge and experience with SAP Cloud security topics.
- SAP Build Work Zone knowledge.
- Understanding of IAM solutions and access management concepts.
- Exposure to SAP SaaS applications and cloud-based SAP products.
- Strong communication skills for working with business, IT and project stakeholders.
- Team-oriented mindset and ability to collaborate across functions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Preferred
- Experience in service or project environments with SAP Security and Authorization topics.
- Good technical understanding of how SAP Cloud and SAP on-premise components interact.
- Ability to work independently, proactively and in a structured way.
- Comfortable handling complex topics beyond first-level support, including troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
- Interest in contributing to security governance, community exchange and internal knowledge sharing.
