Role

As  Senior Product Analyst you will be the data specialist dedicated to the Product team. You will help us build a stronger product data foundation, understand customer behavior, and turn product questions into clear, actionable insights.

You will work across key product areas such as engagement, conversion, retention, verification, payments, and user experience — helping the team understand where users get stuck, which opportunities matter most, and whether shipped improvements actually create impact.

Your Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Own and improve Product KPI measurement, dashboards, and drill-downs as a trusted source of truth.
  • Identify where users drop off, why it happens, and how large the opportunity is.
  • Design and analyse A/B tests, experiments, and holdouts to measure product impact.
  • Set data-driven benchmarks before changes are shipped, so outcomes can be evaluated honestly.
  • Translate product, funnel, and experiment insights into clear recommendations for Product, UX, Engineering, and leadership.
  • Support future segmentation and behavior prediction use cases, such as churn, engagement, or conversion propensity.

Your goals in this role

  • Within 1 month
Assess the current product tracking and KPI setup, identify key gaps, and deliver a first trusted dashboard or diagnostic.
  • Within 3 months
Deliver a first deep-dive funnel or product diagnostic, including drop-off points, opportunity sizing, and a benchmark for a proposed improvement.
  • Within 6 months
Help establish a repeatable product measurement approach used by Product and leadership to make better decisions.

Your Key Competencies

Must have

  • Strong SQL and dashboarding skills, using tools such as Metabase, Looker, Tableau, or similar.
  • Strong understanding of product KPIs, funnel analysis, user behavior, and opportunity sizing.
  • Experience designing or analysing A/B tests, experiments, or holdouts.
  • Ability to turn raw tracking and ambiguous product questions into clear recommendations.
  • Confident communication with non-technical and senior stakeholders.

Nice to have:

  • Python for deeper analysis, automation, or lightweight modelling.
  • Experience with consumer apps, e-commerce, subscriptions, payments, verification, or retention-focused products.
  • Exposure to segmentation, churn, propensity, or other predictive modelling use cases.

Your impact in this role

  • You give the Product team a stronger data foundation.
  • You help the team understand where users get stuck and which opportunities are worth pursuing.
  • You make product changes and experiments easier to evaluate honestly.

Your soft skills

  • High ownership and a strong sense of what good product measurement looks like.
  • Pragmatic, structured, and focused on decisions that unblock the team.
  • Clear and credible communicator.
  • Collaborative mindset with Product, UX, Engineering, and Marketing.

Your Background – Education & Experience

  • Degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Economics, or a related quantitative field, or equivalent demonstrated skill.
  • 5+ years of experience in Product Analytics, Data Analytics, Data Science, or a related analytical role.
