This position is based in our client technical hub in the heart of downtown Bucharest.
Responsibilities
Analyze product requirements and specifications
Implement the full set of test automation activities: develop, maintain and execute automated tests for web UI applications
Improve and extend the existing automation infrastructure and product deployment, always adhering to best test automation practices and tools
Research, recommend and implement tools as needed with the goal of increasing automation
Execute different types of tests (functional, GUI, performance, black box, grey box, exploratory) either manually or using automated testing tools
Work with Project Managers and QA Lead to identify and prioritize tests that are candidates for automation
Perform quality engineering activities to ensure a high level of process and product quality
Develop test plans based on analysis of requirements and design documents
Work within a fast-paced, continuous delivery, agile development environment
Requirements
Prior experience as Quality Assurance Automation at least 3 years
Experience with cross-browser/cross-platform compatible web applications
Experience in test architecture, automation scripting with ability to design, build, test and deploy end to end solution for complex applications on different browsers and operating systems
Good knowledge of at least a programming language (preferably Javascript) and of OOP concepts
Comfortable with standard version control tools (Git)
Knowledge of automation tools (preferably Selenium or cypress.io)
Willingness to engage in a variety of tasks as needed
Analytical and problem-solving skills
Good communication skills in both Romanian and English (in writing and verbally)
Experience with testing Web Applications and development of automated tests for web applications
Experience in Agile and understanding of testing across the full Software Development lifecycle
Experience of building out technical testing solutions adhering to current existing frameworks and standards
Experience of providing input into technical frameworks and strategies
Strong knowledge of testing processes and defect tracking (preferably JIRA)
ISTQB certification would be a plus
Experience with Media Streaming scenarios (it is a plus)
Software development experience to help be more specific with defect analysis, diagnosis and interaction with our
development teams (it is a plus)
