About the role
Our Director, Talent Acquisition – EMEA will report into the VP of Global Talent Acquisition. This individual will be responsible for leading, managing, and implementing all components of our recruiting strategy within the region to ensure our client attracts, hires, and retains key talent. This person will work closely with senior business leaders,
leaders within the People Team, and the global TA leadership team.
Responsibilities
Drive winning results–attracting top talent across complex global markets by allocating time and resources to focus on top priorities, utilizing data-driven decisions, and taking extreme ownership for successful outcomes
Lead the team to deliver against the hiring plan by enabling scalable best practices for the delivery of high-quality candidates and operational efficiencies
Be a strategic advisor to leaders as you collectively devise and deploy diverse talent strategies
Deliver great candidate and hiring team journeys by using data to optimize our process and approach
You will have helped build and mentor a highly effective and engaged team who push themselves and one another to their fullest potential
Partner closely with the People team, leadership, and key stakeholders to proactively assess talent needs and hire remarkable employees
Build recruiter capabilities to take advantage of the latest technology and social networking platforms to identify and attract talent
Optimize hiring strategies, scale best practices in talent acquisition, drive process improvements and deliver on key initiatives
Provide hiring and employment data, metrics, and visualization analytics to inform strategic workforce planning goals
Reviews and analyses talent markets to maintain a keen awareness of government regulations, labour trends, sourcing
alternatives, and costs
Lead recruiting for key executive roles including developing a dynamic sourcing approach
Requirements
Minimum 7 years of experience leading a global TA function (ie. corporate functions, product, engineering, etc)
Ability to coach executives and leaders throughout the business on Talent Acquisition strategy and best practices
Experience driving strategies within a recruiting organization
Innovative mindset: ability to design, build and pilot initiatives that drive desired outcomes; can scale successful programs
Strong track record in inclusion recruiting with a track record of success in building strategies to attract and hire under-represented talent
Experience with the oversight of data integrity, reporting requirements, and key accountability metrics
Enthusiasm for directing, mentoring, and otherwise elevating the people around you to do their best work
Excellent communication and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to define priorities and develop roadmaps
