Role

As part of the Operation Team, the Senior Application Engineer will coordinate and put all his/ her efforts and actions to support all the CRM Windows based applications.

Responsibilities

Monitoring all systems to ensure the availability and performance
Offering in a timely manner, accurate resolution to the appeared incidents
Operating and administrating complex information systems running on WindowsOS.
Involved in transversal projects and activities for: operational testing, acceptance strategy, technical solution definition, implementation of automation/ monitoring mechanism.
Collaborating with other teams to ensure proper integration of the applications
Troubleshooting and analysis for finding the root cause of issues
Scripts development for the automation of recurrent processes
Participate in rotating on call support with team members

Requirements

At least 4-5 years of experience in application administration area ( understanding of applications at a functional and technical level)
Windows Server
Knowledge of:
• SharePoint 2013 / 2016 – Site Administration and Collaboration
• Administration of .NET applications and IIS
• Scripting language: Power Shell
• Knowledge of traffic management solutions (load balancer)
• Network services, load balancer and IP networking (TCP/IP, DNS, Routing etc.)
• High availability environments and clusters
• Procedures, packages, functions, scripts in SQL
• Monitoring tools and centralized logging
Experience with Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity procedures and processes
Problem solving/analytical skills, knowledge of analytical tools and complex troubleshooting methods

Nice to have

Hands on experience with : CFT (Cross File Transfer), Business Objects, Charisma, SharePoint 2013 / 2016 – Farm Administration; Monitoring tools: CheckMK, Nagios, Zabbix etc.
Application and web servers: JBoss, WebLogic, Apache, PHP, Tomcat, WebSphere, etc.
