Your Role
You will enjoy becoming part of a team of open-minded people, well specialized in designing, developing and optimizing products and solutions for the high-tech and strongly regulated domain of electronic financial transactions, where we deal with almost all commercial banks and major financial institutions in our area. Your role will be to participate in the analysis, design, development, functional extension, implementation and highly specialized support and consultancy related to our company’s software products. You will be writing code in project related teams lead by technical leads and will be involved in project analysis meetings internally and with external stakeholders.
The position belongs to the POS Applications Development team, which is part of their Professional Services dept.
The main areas of interest targeted will be applications for POS management.
Our client is the official local partner of well-known POS and ATM manufacturer brands (NCR Corp., Verifone, Castles) and develops customized end-user applications, mostly in .Net / C#, C++ and Android. A certain collaboration is set up with colleagues from other teams, POS and Servers, with whom they work to ensure integration of some specific client – server applications, such as: Remote Key Management and Terminal Management / Monitoring Servers for instance.
Those positions will work as a team or individually and will report to the team supervisor, to project managers or to the technical director.
You will be actively involved in the entire software development lifecycle, including:
Analysis, design, and development of new features
Extending functionalities and ensuring smooth implementation
Providing specialized support and consultancy
Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders
Code development within project teams, led by technical leads
Participating in project analysis meetings
Main Responsibilities
Develop, test, and deploy new features
Provide production support when required
Interact with clients (strong English skills are essential)
Mentor and guide junior and mid-level developers
Work independently as well as within a team
Propose technical solutions and see them through implementation
Conduct code reviews and offer technical guidance
Take full ownership of assigned features, from design to deployment
Stay open to learning and adopting new technologies
Required Skills & Experience
Strong knowledge of Web APIs, .NET Framework 4.5+, .NET Core, ASP.NET, MVC, and C#
Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript frameworks
Good understanding of PL/SQL or T-SQL
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Ability to work in waterfall and/or agile environments
Very good spoken and written English
Nice-to-Have Skills
Experience in banking and capital markets
Node.js knowledge
Strong understanding of software design principles
Proactive mindset with a drive for results
