Our client’s Data and Analytics team establish a global data platform which provides high-quality and trustable data for standard reporting / dashboarding, self-service and data science. You want to join us on their journey and work with different Azure and SAP data warehouse technologies?
Role
As a Data Engineer you conceptualize, design, implement and support data models and data pipelines for applications in the Data & Analytics platform. Your main technology will be SAP BW on HANA / 4HANA. You will always find the balance between individual requirements and sustainable stable solutions. You are open to new technologies and see them as an opportunity to enable even deeper insights into data. You will work closely with our project leads, reporting consultants, data scientists and cloud engineers.
Responsibilities
Design and develop data models / data flows within SAP BW on HANA / 4 HANA
Design and develop calculation views on HANA
Design and develop SAP BW Query / Analysis for Office
Requirements
Completed studies of informatics, business informatics or engineering
Very good knowledge on data modelling
Very good analytical and conceptual skills as well as pro-activeness to understand data in business context
Strong knowledge of SAP BW on HANA / 4 HANA
An understanding of the different requirements that can arise in a dynamic data environment
Knowledge in programming language like ABAP or other script languages
You fit into our team with the following characteristics:
Very good ability to work in functional and cross functional teams
Passion for BI, Analytics and data
Fluent in written and spoken English. German is a plus but not a must
