Client

Our client is an UK based gaming studio. The founders have a great experience in developing mobile games with more than 1.5 m daily active users.

Responsibilities

Liaising between heads of programming and art teams
Supporting artists and engineers in the art pipeline
Assisting in asset performance and validation
Porting finished art to the game engine
Ensuring final art runs to full visual resolution
Working within the limits of the game engine, curating file sizes, draw calls and loading speeds
Enforcing standards as outlined by heads of departments
Monitoring the performance of the game
Maintaining technical documentation
Animating UI within Unity, ensuring Unity Animator has the appropriate settings to switch between states
Utilise particle systems, shaders and other tools to create beautiful visual effects

Required

3+ years experience working in the games industry specialising in Technical Art
Portfolio demonstrating exceptional artwork for mobile
Strong understanding and demonstrable experience with Unity UI
Skilled in animation and special effects within Unity
Ability to give and receive constructive feedback
Self motivated with good time management and attention to detail
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
English speaking with great communication skills
