Our client is very a well-known leader in its domain. Has more than 10k + employees spread in more than 180 offices around the world. Our client plans to open a Global Security-Fraud Capability Center in Bucharest.
Role
From this position you will lead our client strategic efforts to optimize its global 24/7 security and fraud prevention, detection and response. You will define operational requirements for multiple security capabilities in consultation with capability leadership over a 2-3 year horizon. You will be responsible for the planning, governance, implementation, and optimisation of the nearshore/hybrid solution. You will also keep up to date with the trends in the industry, applying and adapting best practices as needed to fulfill the role expectations.
This is a technical leadership role which will involve both management of the security and fraud operations, and the need to be technically experienced with innovative security ideas which reduces cyber and fraud risk across the enterprise. You will be a thought leader, while influencing the vision, strategy, security and fraud policies, and standards of outsourced operations.
Responsibilities
Oversees the overall operations of the Global Security & Fraud nearshore/hybrid Capability Centre ensuring appropriate staffing, capacity planning, and training for the team
Creates the working environment that attracts, engages and develops people to their full potential technical craft and retains them. This includes ensuring all staff are supported in their growth, through constant feedback, coaching and mentoring programs
Designs an operational plan and drives actions to enable delivery of annual goals and targets in line with business objectives.
Applies a professional discipline, combining deep knowledge of theory and organisational practice or expertise across several different Security and Fraud capability areas.
Drives continuous improvements and operational efficiency in your capability area, ensuring the appropriate resources and budget are applied to each topic and that the organisation and people are set up to deliver.
Effectively manages an organisation of one or different crafts (e.g. engineers, analysts, product Managers) and/or external resources (incl. service providers) and any other role needed to deliver their capabilities to the business.
Manages, develops, and coaches a global team of high performing security professionals working 24/7 to protect our client and its customers.
Hires, trains, coaches, mentor cyber security personnel, including the coordination and integration of partner solutions and services.
Ensures that information security risks are identified, evaluated and mitigated that align with the risk posture.
Proficient in incident management response and security risk management.
Responsible for the Security & Fraud Capability Center to ensure security tools are effectively utilised and identify gaps in process or procedure and implement new solutions accordingly.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems Management or related field
Professional security management certification in one or more of the following areas preferred: CISSP, CISA, CISM, GISO, GCIH, CIPP.
12+ years of experience as a technologist, ideally with specialization in cyber security
12+ years’ experience with information security, identity access management, security risk
Demonstrated experience designing, architecting, and implementing Security & Fraud programs and technology platforms
Consulting or product background
Demonstrated leader with team-oriented interpersonal skills; ability to effectively interface with a broad range of people and roles. Accept responsibility and personal accountability.
Technical Specialization: data privacy awareness, computer network defence, incident handling, incident governance, business resilience (crisis management/business continuity), security governance, threat management, vendor management, emergency/disaster management, critical incident stress management, risk management
People & stakeholder & business management expertise.
