Role
We are looking for an experienced SAP ABAP Developer to design and implement modern logistics solutions in the area of SAP Transportation Management (TM), SAP Global Track and Trace (GTT), and API-based connectivity for logistics service providers (LSPs) within an SAP S/4HANA landscape.
The role combines strong ABAP Clean Core engineering with deep logistics integration expertise. You will develop upgrade-stable solutions using ABAP Cloud, RAP, CDS views, Fiori technologies, released APIs, and integration services while supporting complex transport execution, visibility, partner connectivity, and logistics process orchestration.
A central focus of the role is the technical realization of SAP and non-SAP integration scenarios across TM, logistics execution, tracking, event reporting, and carrier/LSP connectivity. This includes API and EDI-aware design, BTP-based extensions, enterprise integration patterns, solution architecture support, and close collaboration with business analysts and agile product teams.
Responsibilities
• Develop and enhance SAP TM and GTT related applications, services, and extensions in SAP S/4HANA.
• Implement API-driven and event-driven integration scenarios for LSP, carrier, and logistics network connectivity.
• Build Clean Core compliant services and extensions using ABAP Cloud, RAP, CDS, and released APIs.
• Support logistics execution scenarios with integration to SAP SD, LE, MM, and adjacent supply chain processes.
• Design and develop interfaces for SAP and non-SAP systems, including BTP-based and cloud-connected integration patterns.
• Contribute to architecture decisions for solution design, enterprise integration, and technical scalability.
• Collaborate with requirements engineers, process analysts, and product owners to implement transport and visibility requirements.
• Participate in agile delivery, code reviews, testing, deployment, and technical documentation.
Requirements
• 3–5+ years of SAP ABAP development experience.
• Hands-on experience in SAP TM, GTT, logistics integration, or transportation visibility scenarios.
• Practical experience with API-based system integration and enterprise connectivity patterns.
• Experience in S/4HANA transformation and logistics-related solution delivery.

Education & Certificates

Language Skills
• English: Business fluent (minimum B2).
• German: Advantageous.
• Strong communication skills for technical coordination with logistics stakeholders, external partners, and international delivery teams.
