Our Danish client is creating a customer loyalty and sales platform for the future across the global retail industry. The app solution enables retailers to move from omni channel marketing to individually tailored communication and sales.
A very relatable and easy to use product, with more than two million users who downloaded the application.

The loyalty and promotions platform runs on a global, massive scale, built by retailers, for retailers. The modular SaaS platform helps retailers increase traffic to stores, increase basket size, and build customer loyalty through personalised offers, gamification, and AI-powered engagement.

They are looking for a strong engineer to for the team that owns and shapes the technical platform hosting their digital services and enables their engineers.
They have customers in APAC, Europe, and North America, with an ambition to expand even further. They continuously innovate their solutions and make sure they operate them at scale across multiple regions to offer competitive prices. Therefore, they need you on the team.

Responsibilities
Take end-to-end ownership of objectives within the Core Platform team – from design and implementation through to validation, communication with other teams, and rollout to production.
Participate in refinement and develop new platform features
Own and operate the platform in production across all customers.
Support client’s engineering teams as internal customers of the platform
Requirements
5+ years of experience as a Platform/DevOps Engineer
1+ years of experience with maintenance of Kubernetes in a high load production environment
Strong communication skills, including fluency in written and spoken English. We value your ability to engage with other teams and help other projects on their DevOps practices
Ability to use AI assistants for various tasks (coding, review, monitoring)
Experience with deploying and managing containerized applications on Kubernetes (for example, with Helm)
Advanced IaC automation skills: Terraform or ARM/Bicep
Hands-on experience with PowerShell or any other scripting language
Good written and spoken English
Would be a plus if you also have
2+ years of experience with Microsoft Azure (PaaS services)
Experience with building high load multi-tenant platforms
Strong grip on infrastructure, network, and security
Knowledge of Python and/or Go
Experience with Azure DevOps pipelines and templating
Prior experience with web applications development
Experience with low level optimization and debugging of apps in Kubernetes and in Linux containers
Experience with platform strategy and DevEx
